A single-car wreck ended with a fatality Monday afternoon.
The driver of a white Chevrolet pick-up truck died after his vehicle flipped over and hit an electrical pole about 4:30 p.m..
Robert Keziah, 28, of 5023 Pleasant Springs Road in Waxhaw, was travelling west toward NC 200 when the incident occurred, Trooper J. Barnhardt said.
“He rolled over after he hit the ditch and collided with the power pole, he said.
Speed was a factor, he said.
Keziah’s truck landed upside down near 1902 Plyler Mill Road, which is near the intersection with Helms Shortcut.
Keziah was already dead when troopers arrived, Barnhardt said.
No one else was harmed during the incident and no other cars were involved, Trooper Justin Sanders said
