has anyone recently had any work done or work for a company?
I need some ball park pricing for a about a 50 ft run.

How tall? Pretty simple to stretch your own as long as it ain't over 6' tall. After that, a pro can have it if looks is concerned.

Set posts first. Then take two 2x8's. Cut lengths the same 1" below fence, 2-3" above. Drill 3 holes down the middle and sandwich end of fence with bolts. Attach one side of fence to corner post. Attach short strap to top and bottom of sandwich. Attach winch in middle of short strap and pull. I use a hand winch for accuracy. Attach bottoms of fence first starting close to middle or at all pivot points where grade breaks. Then tops. String enforcement wire along bottom last and pull it. I've stretched probably 1,000 ft or more of chain link in my time. Alot more of that in field fencing.

I used Piedmont Fence about a year ago, they had the best price and their work was top notch.

price per foot? or does it work like that? never hired it done before.

It was a full quote, not by the foot. If I remember correctly I had four different companies come out to give quotes and they were the cheapest.
