hey .. I got a 84 k5 on 8inches of lift and i just recently got a set of 44s im gonna be mounting up. waiting to get the axles under it right now .. but anyways Ive seen diagrams in the past for fender cutting etc .. like gives dimensions and a blue print of how to cut them. I cant seem to find it anywhere and would like to see that before I try to wing it. Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I would mount them up and see where you going to need the clearance, then follow a body line if possible.

cutting fenders

The biggest problem with cutting the front is the bottom of the fender where it mounts, you can cut it off and make a new mount, i did that then cut my rocker panel completly off front to back it takes a little doing but it turns out pretty nice, another trick i did was redrill the hole in the spring perches to move the front axle forward about and inch or so,you will need to make new ubolt plates but it will free up a little room. Good luck and happy cutting....
