I'm debating on takin off my flares on my 04 TJ Unlimited. I tried to a while back but there are holes in the panel (not rust holes, from the factory holes) and idk if i should keep em or loose em.
Right now i have 31 by 10.50 tires with a 3 inch suspension lift so idk if that will look stupid or not.

It probably looks stupid with 31 inch tires and a 3 inch suspension lift already anyways....so go ahead with the fenders :flipoff2::lol:

Pull the fender flares and put single LED's in the holes. :bling:

haha the holes are in the rear panel but i guess that could still work. I cant take them off and put them back on because the screws started to strip last time

By the way im from KP to, use to live there right around the mill.

I'm sorry i aint got the money to throw on a set of 33's and a lift at the same time since i have to save up for my stuff.

Yeah I do too, but I went the smart route and saved up for the tires AND the lift at the same time

You should look into taking an Internet Humor class, because obviously you don't know it when you see it.

nah i knew you were jokin. i wasnt tryin to start anything. the reason i put a lift without tires is because my dad put on new 31 bfg a/ts before i got it. it doesnt look bad but 33's would make it look better.

Haha good.

Keep in mind with a 3 inch lift and 33's, your articulation will probably hurt just a bit...

yea,i dont know much about all the technical stuff but when i had the kit installed the guy at the shop told me the biggest i could fit are 33's. Also with the 31's wouldnt i be able to get more flex. I wouldnt be bale to crawl on big rocks easily but im not lookin to tear up the TJ yet. Just tryin to get it lookin good.

Yeah you would with the 31's, but youd get more ground clearance with the 33's...

Really, if your not looking to go crazy with it, id take off the 3" lift, sell it, put the money towards a 2", disconnects and a set of 32" tires.

if it was that easy for me to do i might take your advice but idk how to do any of that or have the money/tools to do it. im goin to take out a loan sometime soon and either get tires or rock sliders and a stinger/front hoop.

a loan for fashionable Jeep parts? have you heard about the recession?

Personal observation:

A rock-rashed jeep IS a pretty jeep. I love my black yj, touch up paint available at wal-mart for .99!!

 that will be a big mistake if YOU have to pay back the loan...take advice from people who know

yes i agree but its also not my jeep. Im only 17 and my dad would be pretty pissed if i dinged it all up and scratched off all the paint. Hes not much of a fan for muddy cars and scratched paint so he doesnt exactly understand but since he payed for my car i have to listen to him.

Also i mentioned taking out a loan because my dad wants me to start building my credit up early before i go off to college. It would be only like 1 or 2 grand but i know thats not necesarily the best idea.

haha i mean its been through URE completely stock on street tires(obviously not the tough trails) but we got it new in 04 and my dad has limits on what i can do it as far as lifts and tires. Hes scared ill flip it, which i almost have a few times. Also demolished a fire hydrant on a rainy day.

Also, side steps or no side steps? Stinger(45 bucks) or Grille guard(130)? I have the WARN rock bumper and on quadratecs website it says i need the winch mount to mount the grille guard but idk if thats MUST HAVE to mount the grille guard
