Picking her up.

First change was the hood latches, coming home from a trail ride and the hood on the drivers side was bouncing real bad. 1 of the pins had fallen out so just picked up a new set. They look good and the quality seems ok, well see how they hold up. Installed a Rough Country bikini top. My wife is a ginger so the sun is not her friend but we like the top open so this has been a nice addition. We also added a Stinger Heigh10 head unit and a back up cam. Hooke Road tube doors. No I was not expecting superior quality for the price i paid for these doors but they seem decent and will get the job done for the time being. I may upgrade them if we get alot of use out of them which i think we will. The paint on the barrel part of the factory hinges is pretty bad and starting to flake and break off in chunks so i have a new set of smittybilt black hinges on order to replace them. i also put a set of Bushwacker tailgate and hood protectors on it. I had only intended to use the tailgate protector but the hood protector actually made the front look a tad better with that weird grill. Near future plans are a full set of Bartact orange and black seat covers, Rough Country winch bumper with rough country 9500 synthetic rope winch, then possibly a new grill pending how it looks after the new bumper and winch.

Welcome! If the meet-n-greet gets off the ground this year, you should come out and introduce yourself. There’s a good group of guys on here who are (mostly) friends in real life.

x2 on the angry grill

Where does the meet n greet take place? And yeah, the grill is on the list its just not top priority. Still need to find one I like and possibly find someone to paint it which I can only imagine how much that would set me back.

So much hate on the grille. I am surprised these manufacturers even manage to sell these things. Thanks though!
They are popular with the mall jeep guys.
Off roaders as a whole dont understand fawking with the singular iconic symbol of the brand

Where does the meet n greet take place?…

Any experts willing to offer their opinion on what size lift is on this thing? I need/want to get new springs and shocks but want to try and maintain the current height. I am measuring 15" front the top of the axle to the bottom of the spring tower or 13 1/4 or so from the top of the bottom spring perch to the bottom of the spring tower. Based on all the many different things I have read in my research i believe it is a 4.5" lift.
