Field and Stream in Cary

Went Friday night, it was late enough the crowds were OK. It is alot like the Bass Pro in Concord Mills, but with a bigger gun section. They did have plenty of .22 ammo!

The greensboro news & record had flyers for this in both Saturday and Sunday paper this week. Cary is a bit far I thought.

Bass Pro opened a new store in Bristol VA a couple weeks ago.I was there three days after it opened and they had two 50 count boxes of 22.A guy I know got two 1400 round tubs for $70 ea on opening day.The day I was there people were sitting around waiting on them to unload the truck.I dont understand the demand/apparent shortage of 22 ammo.:shaking:

I think today the shortage is everyone thinking there is a shortage so they buy every one they see.

It's actually closer to Durham and west of RTP, coming from the west on I-40 take the hwy 55 exit turn right/south on 55 and it's about 3 miles on the left. "Cary" now extends it's borders into Durham and Chatham co. The store is a mile from the co. line. Bass Pro Shops is maybe 6-7 miles further east on 40 past the 55 exit and right off the interstate ( Harrison Ave exit turn right, right at second light not including the exit light )
