Figuring out what the P/O did...

Hey all, just bought a 89 XJ for a project. Good news is it came with a rebuilt engine, custom front bumper with a Warn HS9500i, 5 33x9.5's with matching wheels and the TC was lowered. Bad news is the rear has 3" blocks and an add-a-leaf. I know I want to replace the blocks but aside from that, I'm not sure what else I need. I'm in Mocksville, can anyone recommend a good shop or hell, even just meet me to take a look at it. I need to know what I can save from the front lift, what needs to be replaced, etc... Unfortunately I have a gravel driveway and can't work on it here so I need to find a shop I trust or [and this is what I'd prefer] find out exactly what I need, get it and take it somewhere else to wrench on it.

I'm considering selling the bumper and winch to finance the suspension fixes, but only after I know how much I need.

Alright:

Orange hose is running to the back, planned on using it for AC/OBA conversion. Also, you can't see it in those pics but the rear shocks are attached to hangers and I don't know if that's normal or not.

Looks like just some rear lift springs. Take a pic of the top of the front springs.

The front spacers will work IMO but the blocks would have to go. I bet the block/spacer combo was the first lift and the springs were done later. Does it have a SYE? Take a pic of the back of the transfer case at the drive shaft. Hell, while your at it post a pic of your girl too since you are doing such a great job of posting pics on demand!

Nope, no SYE according to the guy I bought it from. And no girl for that matter, makes it easier to spend money on vehicles!
