So far we have had a very productive year. Even in the last 3 months we have gotten a lot done. The efforts put into June have actually spilled over into the past workday(s). We still had $300 left over so we were able to rent another Bobcat and knocked out 5 more items on the massive to-do list put together in May. And we still have $75 left over.
I know some weren't extremely happy with June, but it ends up the efforts and money put together for that work weekend have totaled in 11 items of the 19 completed through use of the Bobcats (in aid or entire use), plus another 2 outside of those. So of 19 items we have a good 13 completed, considering most of the items were 2-4 hour projects in themselves that says a lot.
The majority of the work left over is guard rail install, and with both the "Big Red" Auger and the Forest Service auger blowing up our resources are limited. Put on top of that the areas that need rail are rocky/nasty areas we will need to rent equipment. We are looking at 1-2 rentals at minimum, so we have our work cut out for us. I will also be working with Terry Savery to get other non guard rail projects for the equipment to be used on also. So we get the most out of our equipment rentals and don't spend our entire efforts just on guard rail.
The last 3 workdays have been great, lets make the next last 3 of the year great ones also.
