finally had to do it.

Mine barely change in a vehicle ...but get outside they darken on up...

For years, being restricted to driving with corrected lenses, I use 2 pair. I is clear lens, & 1 in dark Sun glass. Found out Way back, that anything like the "Transitions", wont darken inside a vehicle. You have to be in more direct Sun light. I Hate a cloudy day, or a day of Sun, Clouds, Sun, Clouds! Every time I change glasses, the weather changes!
As for welding, I tried using my readers. Can't tell if they help or not. I think the readers are not close enough to the weld, & distance glasses are Too close.:(
