Does anybody have any idea how to locate a vehicle that has been sold? Here's the story...a couple of years ago I sold my crew cab diesel F350. I put a lot of time and money into it and have regretted selling it almost every day since. The guy that bought it from me lives in Lexington, SCHOOL. He has since sold it to a guy in GA. I have the VIN and description. Anybody know how I could go about finding the location of the new owner so I can contact him about possibly buying it back? Any help will be ohhh so appreciated.

Craigslist - lost connections?

On a more serious note, I've been there. Sold things for barely enough $ to recoup the parts alone.

Well…..while you looking here's my list of one's I'd like to have back: 65 mustang GT hardtop 289hi-po 4 speed, sold 1986. 1987 Mustang SVO, sold 1989 . 1972 240z sold 1989, 1972 Scarab 240z sold 1990, 1988 E30 M3, sold 1997, 1996 Supra TT sold 1998, 1993 M5 sold 1999, 1970 240z , sold 2000 …2005 Jim's Garage chassis #1 before it was bastardized….sold 2009. I'm sure there were some I missed…but if you run across any of these I'd like to them have back for what I sold them for.
You can find your truck it's just going to take lots of phone calls. Start with the GA DMV.

And tell the GA DMV that you're with the NC DMV and are going down the list of possibly stolen vehicles and this one is your project for this week

I found my wrangler pretty easily i cant remember what the lady did but all it took was a vin number over the phone to nc dmv(or tag office? I beleive) and had to stop by in person to pick up the info. It didnt leave state though just 5 hours away.
