I had a 88 ranger that was 4x4 it had a 93 mustang 5.0 h.o swapped including the t5 mustang tranny. Even still kept the fuel injection. This was a couple years ago and I had traded for it. Well its long gone and I might be getting another ranger with the v6 still in it. I know it needed an adapter plate from the t5 to the stock ranger t-case. I can't seem to find that adapter anywhere. Any advise?

james duff, advance adapters. Have you tried them?

call them they consider it apart of their nitch, or used to any ways. I really liked their suspensions built for Rangers and B2's and they used to carry a full line of swap goodies.

shit I just reread that and its says NLA. I thought what does that mean, oh no crap NO LONGER AVAILABLE no shit!

you beat me by a second, sorry man... C4? auto built with manual valve body and an atlas (its what I'm dreaming of)

where do you live in T-ville, that's my home town?
Grew up on Teague Town RD.

I've bounced around tville to a couple different places over the years. But like 5-10 min from Harrington's. But that adapter looks pretty tricky to make from scratch so probably be pretty pricy

you may want to look into a M5od swap-found in F150s, has the bellhousing for a 5.0, I believe it's close to the same length as your original ranger trans and should bolt up to your transfer case(i'm a little rusty on my ford stuff, you will want to verify before spending $$). it's stronger than the ranger trans by a good bit.
if you need more strength and a granny first gear, look into a ZF 5 spd swap-they can be hard to come by though

The M5OD from the full-size trucks has the full-size bolt pattern and spline count at the t-case. Six-bolt round pattern and 31 spline, same as all the other FS Ford truck stuff of that era.
