First time to Callalantee

What to expect for the first time going up there. This will be the first time for all of us in my group.

DO - Search... to find the map made by Galen & Statton! It'll get you most everything worth while.

DON'T - Cross ANY fences or Private Property!

DO - Lock up EVERYTHING you expect to be there when you return.

DON'T - Show your @$$ in town, the local LEO aren't out to get you, but don't provoke them.

DO - Take earplugs if you plan to camp at Callalantee... the chicken across the road make a racket (24/7)!

Expect to not find all the "good" trails w/o a guide... definetly get a good map off here...

X2 - It can be a confusing place, even to returning drivers.

Most of the trails have bypasses, but make sure to look before you leap.

you will have fun,will get lost at times,good trails are hidden if you havent been there 6,7 times or with a guide.
Other than that its awsome,Its one of my favorite places to wheel locally.

How is the group built?

A few buggies, a bronco on 35's or 37's, and an old 78ish chevy on 38's. I am not taking my jeep this time...still have some kinks to work out.
