Taken friday morning at <10 yards on family land. 9.5" beard. Fan looks nice on the wall with the rest of the goodies that Ive found out hunting. If you look real close you can see whats NOT left of his head. The tight choke really worked, well maybe too good. So close of a shot, he slipped up on me while I was calling a lesser bird further away. He was so close that I could see his eyes looking right at me (I was behind a cedar downfall) and when he went behind a 4" pine, it was just enough to snap the Stoeger to the shoulder and wait for ol bobblehead to stick it out.

Awesome! Thats a great start. I haven't gotten my NC bird yet this year and I'm off to PA in 2wks for 7 days of chasing toms.
