Ya… so this is what happens when you store an engine with an open thermostat housing and no thermostat. Damn squirrels packed acorns in any opening they could find!
Not really tech, but kinda is. I have 1.5 acorns that has fallen down behind the casting for the #1 intake valve in the water jacket.
Here’s a pict before it fell, and I can only see them with a flexible bore scope at this time.
I tried wrapping tape backwards around the bore scope and tried to stick to the Acorn. No dice. I can’t reach it with anything I have.
Short of pulling the head and shaking it out, any thoughts? It’s about 6”-8” back inside, depending on if you ask him or her.
I was thinking about flooding the water jacket and try to float the acorns out.
