I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a public pond or has a small farm pond good for bass fishing , i stricklty bass fish and always do catch and realise. Even if you just point me to a public pond that would be awesome and within two hours or so of lincolnton would be great.

Mirror lake, on Mirror lake rd in lincolnton.

I know of an awesome place here in Mocksville that we used to fish years ago. I have been thinking of heading back this spring to see if I can get caught by the new land owner Clint Boyer..lol

It used to be the spot, but I aint been in over 10 years...like I said, I may try to roll in this spring though just to see what happens. We're talking 3 to 5 pounders all day, with bigger ones lurking.

When I was young, my uncle would take me deep sea fishing. We caught shark in the 100 to 200lb range. They were bigger than me. Much like what Dylan has going on there.. :D

I have one on one of the properties I maintain that is about 2 acres. Shortly after it was built in about '96 I stocked it with Florida strain largemouth bass. I only stocked it with half the amount that was recomended so they could grow. I also stocked it with catfish, bream, and crappie. I caught lots of all but the bass until once while there I snagged about a 3-4 pounder bass. I'm sure there are some monsters in there now.
But I'm not disclosing the location...:flipoff2:

I have done some google map searching, and i have canoe fished mirror lake and there are some nice ones there but i don't have a full time connection to a canoe so warrior lake is kind of out of the equation because you cant really bank fish it.

Haha well that sucks

I actually know of a pubic park near isle of palms,SC where you can catch 3-4 lb bass all day long, during the summer in a few hours you can see 50+ good size bass jump out of the water for bugs.
