anyone have experience with fitech TBI systems? the price is right, they get good reviews, and install is super easy. looking at upgrading the entire fueling system on my bronco (cell, SX Performance pumps / reg / filter) and topping it off with a fitech 600. going on a moderately built 351w.

There are a couple threads on hardline about it

Came recomended to me by a well known board member. He also owns a very successful repair shop in Granite Falls.....

I m gonna give it a try eventually on another ford product.

We have installed a couple kits. Very simple install, but can be finicky when it comes to the electrical system. Don't run a ballast resistor or points, needs electronic ignition and full 12V. Make sure it gets a "clean" tach signal, the throttle body houses the ecm and is the main ground for the system so make sure it is grounded well. Their fuel command center makes install seam very simple, but can be difficult to make work properly. Tech support is helpful on the phone, but the actual instructions could be more informative. Definitely worth the money.

It would be a hard choice for me. With holley's new sniper kit being the same price and features as the fitech it makes you think. It would be nice to have a company like holley with the tech service and resources to help with any problems.

I would also look at fitech's go street 400 hp kit. It will handle most mild motors for 200 bucks cheaper. The only down side is no ignition control.

Seems to be getting great reviews from everyone in my groups. I have read though that after a couple months it seems to develop dead spots in acceleration, and haven't seen what the culprit is though. Here's a recent install.

Anyone who ever messed with Holley's Pro-Jection system would disagree, strongly.

Holley also scares me with their release dates. They had the sniper system out 9 month before the tuning software release.
That said, I have an order for a Sniper system waiting on fulfill.
