Any advice on correcting this other than trying to bend it back? Wanting to try and do it w/out removing it from the axle housing. Figured on trying to bend it back then welding in a brace for it off the sides or replacing it needed as a last resort

If you want to bend it back, just grab it with a oversized adjustrable wrench and pull it back where you want it.

Just realize that if it bent once....it will bend again....the more it bends the more likely it is to rip off.

Had to fix one at Pargon 2 months ago.

I was aware of bending it back may weaken it hence why I was looking at welding a gusset to it somehow. No more wheeling than what I'm doing now I may try bending it back for now. Being that the stock controls arms didn't bend in the wreck I don't think the metal have fatigued that much at the mount. I'll just bend it and keep and eye on it

Yo,
Is the bend causing another problem? If not, leave it alone. Bending it back will cold work the metal and make it more prone to failure. Heating it would be better. As suggested, it appears gussets are in order. The design appears to be weak but likely adequate for daily driving.

So, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I did the same thing to mine, I bent mine back and then basically Made another set of brackets that I welded around them to re-enforce them, Then the best thing to do to re-enforce them is get a pair of the currie control arm skid plates, they connect the brackets making the whole thing into a box so it doesnt bend out of shape again
Hope this helps

The skid plates I mentioned:

Or you could fab up your own stuff, But the pre-fabbed stuff is pretty cheap.
