Flange Question

ok ive got a flange that takes 1210 u joints and a driveshaft that takes 1310....now I know the difference is in the width but is there anyway I can make this flange work. It seems a waste to throw it out and spend 50 dollars on a new flange...

I have a simular situation on my rear. I'll be honest and tell you I do not know what numbers, 1210 1310 and so on. I know the drive shaft is a stock Jeep or chevy half ton and the rear is ton(14 bolt) I run what they call a bastard joint. I simply went to NAPAand told them what both applicatins were and he had a chart with this info on it and come up with a joint that is two different sizes. Hope this helps.
