anyone use these things as much as I do and which ones last the longest. With CNC cutting and daily fab work, I use these things like no other and need to start buying in bulk.
So what brand do you use a ton of that you believe are proven to last.
CGW? 3M? Benchmark? etc. etc.
I love the CGW so far, Benchmark Abrasives are ok but don't last as long. My local welding supply sells some high dollar ones for $11 each but for me personally they work awesome but don't last that long or any longer than CGW comparatively...

I have bought them for probably the last 10years. They outlast everything from the big box stores for a fraction of the cost. I always have to look it up but there is a discount code, I think it's NAXJA

I ran a flame cut table for 3 years at my last job. I'd tap the slag off the back side with a hammer and then deburr with an angle grinder. For anything intricate, 90* die grinder and some sanding discs. Grinding discs on a 4.5" last a lot longer and you can still get a good finish, especially since they glaze over a little with light pressure vs heavy pressure.
 
I buy the HF ones, work well.

I burn through those in 1 firepit lol but I admit I'm hard on my stuff too. I'll burn up a new $100 grinder in 4months if I'm not mindful and chill for a minute
 
I used the same Metabo grinder for 3 years. Totally worth the money!

JK, got a bunch from benchmark awhile back when someone posted on the deal of the day or something. Seem decent other than the constant emails from them haha. But I don't use them like you do John so not sure how they'd last.

I just ordered a huge pack of benchmarks, gonna order big pack of CGW then that German brand someone mentioned and compare all 3.

Doing great John. Hope you are too. I'm proud of you for doing your own thing.
