Floor heat not working

I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem with there xj? My heat and or a/c only blows out of the defrost no matter what position I have my heat selector on, someone told me it is possibly a vacuum line. But I wanted to see what you guys thought. My forehead is burning up and my feet is freezing...

you got it right, it's a vacuum line. My Zj did the same thing for awhile. It's probably one of the small plastic lines and has cracked.

x2 vac line... engine vacuum holds the door, and default position with no vac is defrost.
