I have a 2 ton floor jack that has quit lifting, Tried to jack up the jeep and it won't lift it. I always worked flawlessly until now.

Similar to this one, but mine is a 2 ton

It doesn't lift with weight on it, Its like the handle is not tight enough to get a good seal and it leaks.

Is there a fix or should I invest in a new jack?

Mine is a "crew line" and it was a gift.

Sounds like the O-rings went bad and is low on fluid. They can be fixed, my dads jack does this every other year and he tears into it and fixes it.

It's probably low on fluid. It should have a fill screw somewhere and it can be a pain to fill and bleed out the air.

Found this about it, I hope mines not cracked

Where can I get replacement parts for a Crewline 2 ton floor jack model 480750?
Question:

I have a Crewline 2 ton floor jack model 480750 that no longer works after a year of use. I have tried off and on to find replacement parts but haven't had any luck. The large nut on the piston cylinder has a crack in it that has allowed all the fluid to leak out and will no longer hold a load. What is the part number for this nut and where can I purchase one?

Answer:

Hello Brandon,
That jack was a special production for a single retailer and is no longer available. The warranty the retailer provided was for one year and no replacement parts exist.

Thanks for asking,

Carl
