What are you guys running? I am looking for something that sounds good but not over the top. Something throaty, sounds good idling I want to be able to hear myself think going down the road.

Any particular setup? Duals would be cool but not mandatory. Right now I do not want to pay the extra money for duals.

School me on a muffler setup. Thanks

Stock 302 nothing fancy.

I had a 1 in/2 out Flow 40 w/ my 5.0 ina 94 Bronco. Not true duals but I liked it.

I personally like the 50s, you can hear you self think and have a conversion with the person beside you or on the phone if needed. If you mash the gas it has a good sound but nothing crazy.
I believe there are chamber options also, the more chambers you have the less noisy it will be. I think there are 2 and 3 chamber options.

x2, I've got a 50DF on my 4.5L Stroker. I was looking for decent (deeper) sound without being loud and obnoxious.

I forget the numbers, but one is a two chamber and the other is a three. The two is annoying on the highway. Most muffler shops will have a pile of them that people wanted removed. The three chamber sounds awesome when you get on it, but is toned down a little a crusing speed.

i have a trush welded half the price same as a 40 buy them at advance auto they sound awesome

The Thrush is the same as the 40 Series.

I think I have a 40 on mine....It's way to loud. I'd rather have good stock muffler or a 3 chamber 50

i've got a 40 you can have
it just has a small penny size hole from where i took it off my dodge after taking a trip to charlotte ,,, it drove me crazy ,, its loud!!

Thanks for the offer but looks like I am leaning towards a 50 series. Do places like Henry's in Raleigh cary magnaflow?

Cherry Bomb turbo II from AutoZoo, $25.
Makes my 4cyl sound like a v8.
Ok maybe NOT but importantly it keeps it low and a little loud but not ricy, at a nice price.
