Anyone been to the speedway for the auto fair? We went today Not alot of Offroad stuff there but did run across a pretty large international scout group on the way out.

Went a couple of times when my buddy was restoring his '49 Plymouth. It's mostly for antiques. Lots of vendors for re chroming, new old stock etc. Had a good time every time I went though.

I was there all day yesterday and today.

If anyone saw a guy walking around with what looked like a military bazooka/missle carryer thing, That was me.

As well if you were in the green field, and saw a green 2500 suburban with a rocket on top, that was us.

As far as the auto show, it seemed like prices were much better suited to market conditions than before, at least on the stuff that i looked at / bought.

I will say that the turnout was drastically better than last year, but i will consider last year to be rock bottom, with low turnout, and higher than market value prices.

Hope everyone else had a good time out there.

Anybody see a guy selling an isuzu 12 bolt rear with disc brakes and a garbage 10 bolt front with Super Winch hubs. If you did, thats the asshole that stole them from in front of my shop last Friday at 1:18 in the am. I got him on camera this time. Next time he shows up at my shop trying to act like my buddy I'm gonna put his head under my lift and pin his face to the ground till he admits he did it.

saw both of them very unusual where did you find the rocket at would love to have one

My dad made the "rocket" thats on top of the sub.

Its PVC and aluminum, and it holds his 8-ft beach umbrella. He got tired of it looking like a plumbers truck.

Mars - I didn't see either of those, and i would have noticed them, they are on my mental list of things to check out, unless they were with the same guy that the ford 60 front for sale in the greenfield, and i missed them.

I should probably make a trip tomorrow and see if he's out there trying to sell them. I really wouldn't think he'd have the balls to try it that close to my shop, but people never cease to amaze me.

I doubt a thief would actually pay to setup at an event like this. More than likely they either got scrapped along with other stolen stuff or he sold them off locally to one of his buddies.

Play your video back and take a picture of the screen and post the thiefs face here. Maybe someone will recognize him.

Also, if anyone wants tickets to go out there tomorrow I've got 4 of them I won't be needing. Text me at 704-622-8917 and you can come pick them up in the morning in Belmont
