Who was the best singer for sabbath?

I know theres more but cant think of there names so post them if you know.

There weren't multiple singers for BS, when Ozzy split they were BSII or something like that. Even though Tommy hung with them through all the changes BS died in 1979 :(

Ozzy is the only Black Sabbath singer imo. Not knocking dio but when I think Sabbath I think of only one man & that is ozzy.

there were 4 singers for sabbath.ozzy
dave walker(no vocals ever recorded, just on stage)
ronnie james dio
ian gillan
ozzy was by far the best singer, even though i was a huge rjd fan i still prefer ozzy in my sabbath

Incorrect.
Tony Martin was in the band two different stretches. He was actually the singer for Sabbath longer than anyone besides Ozzy.
They made like 5 albums with him.

Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple was also the singer briefly, and sang on an album.

There was one other dude, too, but he didn't record or tour with them.

Ray Gillian also. Apparantly due to a fistfight Ian was in.

Saw it on Wikipedia.... and if it's on the internet, it must be true.

Dont get me wrong im a huge ozzy fan but i think dio was the better singer but on the other hand dio cant sing war pigs like ozzy cant sing voodoo. Both are unreal in concert!!! R.I.P DIO

The first album I think was "Sunday's Best", first 8 track I ever bought!

RJD rulz!

My very first concert at 14 was the Mob Rules Sabbath tour with UFO opening up. I guess you can figure out which way I voted. Other than Neil Young and Crazy Horse, it was the best live show I have ever seen.
Ozzy is an asshat wearing clown that could sing and create press releases with his antics. I am cool with that, but I still hold him responsible for allowing the best young rock guitarist in the world to climb into a small plane with a coked up pilot. He flew it right into a tour bus parked at the airport. Ozzy is a burnt out, retarded idiot.
R.I.P. Randy Rhodes.
Ronnie was a real singer and showman that carried himself with class and made sure the fans got a great show and all the autographs they could stand afterwards. Still have mine. He had perfect pitch and a 3 octave range. He could sing circles around any of the others that fronted the band.
Oh yeah, he created this:Rockon: too. It is an old Italian thing his grandmother taught him. She would point it at him when he was misbehaving as a child and he carried it into his stage performance.
