Is there an easy way to convert 5.0 (from a crown vic) from EFI to carb? I was told that to put a 4bbl intake on it I would also need to change the heads. But I honestly don't think the person I got that nugget from could tell a sbc head from his own head.
Is he correct? IF not what intake do I look for?

you can use the heads on the 5.0 . use any carb. intake manifold you wish as long as its for a 289/302

just pull intake up and it becomes any old 302 long block. Replace with intake and carb of your choice.

However, many of us converted from carb to efi for wheeling purposes.
