what do most ford 8.8s come geard stock

Guess it depends on what it came out of? Most pass cars would probably be 2.73 or 3.08. Then I believe Explorers and trucks are 3.42 or 3.73.

I think they have a lot of different ratios.

depends on what you get it out of.

3.54, 3.73, and 4.10 are common.

4.10s are harder to find, at least when i was looking. they came with the tow package if i'm not mistaken

if you find a Fx4 ranger they had 4.56 optons available with the 5 speed and the FX4 also has the 31 spline shafts.

Mine was out of a 97 or 98 Explorer. Came with 4.10s, Limited slip, and 31 spliners.
Now it has 4.88s, Detroit, and 31 spliners.
