Ford D44 ?'s

I think if you get an older one, it's low pinion, but should have same leaf spring spacing as 78-79. Newer-80 and up is IFS garbage.
 
Yeah i knew that below a 78-79 is the low pinion stuff, i just kinda forgot. now i feel like an a$$, so i guess the anwser to my post is that if i want a high pinion full width D44 with 31.5" pin to pin spring perches is taht i need a 78-79?

The 78-79 HP D44 only applies to Broncos, which had LPs prior to that. 1973-1979 F-150s all had HP axles, the only difference being that the 78-79 had cast c-wedges. The HP axle was first used in 1965...
