Ford Flex info needed...

The wife is looking at one. Anyone know first hand about these?? I like what I see but looks can be different than the truth. What kind of milage are they really getting? Says 18 city 24 hwy

we were looking at them a few months ago, it's kind of like a smaller Expedition ( or a short bus if you get a yellow one )

I wouldn't expect mileage to be much better than 20mpg, just from the way it drove, to me it seemed a little doggy. granted it wasn't an Eco-Boost twin turbo hot rod, but it seemed heavy.

I wasn't crazy about the way the seats in the rear felt, they seemed to flex a lot and didn't truly lay flat when all were folded down. but it DID have a lot of room in it. another turn off for me was it only had a 3500lb tow rating even with the towing package.

it wasn't a $30k vehicle to me ( looking at new )
 
I've been reading up on them. Apparently one of the best vehicles Ford has ever made from a quality perspective. I wouldn't be surprised to get mid or even high 20s on the highway... Cyd's Exploders have always done 19-22 hwy, and that's body on chassis AWD.
 
wife's friend had one and LOVED it....she sold it and still complains about selling it.
Then again her uses and yalls are about s opposite as possible.
 
Looks to me like the resulting offspring of a Scion XB and a school bus.
