i would start by checking throttle body for any buildup those fly by wires are funny about any dirt or buildup around the butterfly, my wifes 05 freestyle done that with her around 100k and didnt store a code either, i used a toothbrush and some throttle body cleaner and scrubbed it really good(it was nasty) and no issues since and it is over 150k now...probly need to do that again actuallyscared to death!!!!!
