Did Ford ever make a 4 door, gas, short bed, 4wd F250 or F350 before 1997?

I had a 1996 4 door, 4wd, 7.3 F250 shortbed and love that body style, but don't want the diesel.

I've seen long bed 4wd gassers ( I think), but no shortbeds. Most of the gassers are 2wd in my experience.
 
Depends how far back you wanna go...in the 70's you could ONLY get a crew 4x4 as a short bed...and only gas engines...and only as a 250. IIRC, the 92-97 4wd crews could be had as a short bed in the 250hd format, but not the 350.
 
the 90-97 body style

the 92-97 4 doors came in long bed in the F250 and F350 , have seen (owned) a 4wd F250 shortbed diesel, but have never seen a 4wd short bed F350 (talking 4 door single rear wheel here)(don't think that was made)

what I want is a 4 door, 4wd gas, F250 shortbed......1995-1997 years. Did Ford make that? Wish I had the space to build one.
 
92-97 4 door F250s were short bed, 4 door F350s were long bed only.

Gas and diesels offered in all. Gas in a crewcab will be 351W or 460. Get the 460 as they get as good or better mileage (mine gets 13+) and have way more torque.

Lots of guys have swapped in the Dana 60 from a F350 into there F250 4 door SB and put F350 badges on it but it was never offered from Ford.
