What you guys think about the V10 in a 2001 Super Duty?

Looks like I can get one of these for much cheaper than the 7.3L diesel.
 
Never towed with one. I can tell you that my hemi tows quite well and the only time I have a problem is long inclines. (Like going to Mtn City.) On the other hand, others complain about their hemi's not towing well at all. The difference I've seen is my truck is running 3.92 gears. If the gearing is around that range in the super duty then I think the V10 would tow fantastically. Nonetheless, I'd still prefer the diesel. :D But hey, price does matter.
 
Just bought a Dodge V10 and I love the power... hate the gas mileage... love the power.
 
I had an 04....fast as hell unloaded.
Reasonably torquey when pulling. Better than the 5.4, but not a ton.

9mpg empty
4-5 when towing heavy.
 
This was a 4 door 4wd for whatever its worth and had (4.11?) the "towing gears"
