Forscan mods?

Anybody do any mods using Forscan? I’ve been reading about it. There are a few items that sound like they’d be worth changing, like fog lights stay on when hi beams are on and police mode to lockout the transmission if the key is out of the vehicle while it’s running. I trust y’all more than the brodozers on the Facebook and YouTube.

I just downloaded the software and got a usb to obd adapter from Amazon not long ago. I haven't tinkered with it yet though. I'm kinda worried I will mess something important up lol. Looks like you can do some pretty useful stuff with it though.

I've done this on 2 6.7 F250s and 2 different generations of F150. I already have the software on my laptop and OBD II adapter. Feel free to come back over, but honestly it's simple enough I'm sure you can figure it out. It's an awesome program and easy to use IF you have the spreadsheet of codes.

So can you make a backup to revert to if you screw up the changes?

Yes. I believe it prompts you to do this anytime you add a new vehicle.

Cool thing i forgot to mention about Forscan is use you it to change settings, unlike AlfaOBD where you use it to diagnose problems
