Forums showing as having new posts

I did change my IE settings to check upon each visit to the page, but it still shows as having new posts. (Tools, Internet options, "settings")

Here's a trick that's working for me.. click anywhere in the post you read.. doesn't have to be on anything clickable... just anywhere.. Seems to make my browser recognize that it's been read.

It's a vBulletin issue. They changed the way it keeps track of read/unread posts in one of the latest versions, and it's not working very well.
