Hello NOAS crew!
I hope everyone has had and is having a good holiday season. Just wanted to take the time to let y’all know what the schedule for 2025 will be as well as some changes we’ve made to the club.
2025 EVENTS SCHEDULE:
As usual we will have 3 official runs this year, and we may also have a smaller unofficial club run as well (unofficial meaning you’re on your own for food).
Official Runs
Harlan, KY - February 27- March 2 (Harlan County Outdoor Recreation Board Authority | Evarts | 711 Bailey Creek Road, Evarts, KY, USA)
AOP (Adventure Off-road Park) South Pittsburgh, TN - June 12-15 Adventure Off Road Park
Uwharrie, NC - October 2-5
Potential Unofficial Runs: (email me if you’re interested, or have other ideas)
Cape Lookout ORV in Portsmouth & Davis Islands, NC - Cape Lookout National Seashore (U.S. National Park Service)
Georgia Divide - About The Georgia Traverse
General Expectations on a run:
We will help if anyone breaks or gets stuck, but everyone needs to be fairly self-sufficient.
Everyone should have at least one fire extinguisher and first aid kit with their vehicle.
Everyone should bring food and drinks for the day.
Please go to the bathroom and fuel up before we hit the trails if possible, and before we have the morning meeting would be optimal.
Please buy trail passes and anything else you think you’ll need for the trails before we have our morning meeting on a trail day.
Memberships:
Due to the rising costs of feeding everyone on the official runs, we’ve decided to raise membership fees to make sure we can keep up the quantity and quality of food we serve y’all.
As such the costs for memberships are:
Single $35 (One adult for meals, one shirt, one raffle ticket)
Family $45 (2 adults, 2 kids meals, two adult shirts, one raffle ticket)
Family Plus $60 (2 adults, 4 kids meals, two adult shirts, one raffle ticket)
As usual, membership fees are due by the Uwharrie run to get your free raffle ticket and shirt(s) at that run. Additional shirts are $5 each while supplies last. Additional adults are $5 per meal at events.
Also, this year we’re going to be having 3 membership drives with a chance to win a 1 year OnX subscription, an OnX beanie, and a grinding wheel pack from Benchmark Abrasives.
Paypal is membership@noas4x4club.com - please include your name, mailing address, phone, email address, and preferred shirt sizes in the description.
New Sponsors: Thanks to Andrew’s efforts, we’ve also picked up a few new club sponsors this year!
Club Merch:
Pint Glasses:
We’re also looking at having some pint glasses made with the club logo on them. They’ll likely be $6-8 depending on how many we need to make.
We’ve had a run of lclub stickers done recently.
8” tri-colored NOAS stickers - $10 each
4-inch NOAS sticker - $5
Hoodies:
Color wil be a dark grey with the logo in a lighter grey so that if they get dirty while we’re wrenching or wheeling, it won’t be as noticeable.
Price will be $40 each. (We have to do a group buy of these, so please let me know by January 15th if you’d like one.)
Please message me if you’re interested in any of our club merch and we can either bring it to you at the next NOAS run, or we can mail it to you (for the cost of packaging/shipping) if you want it faster.
Anyways, that about sums up the end of year announcements for 2024. I again hope that everyone has a great holiday season, and I can’t wait to see y’all out on the trails in 2025! ^_^
