Found a Ring need help finding its owner

No I figure with the price of gold and the way it is, I just didnt want to hand it to the first person who says its theres. It has some personal engraving on it that would lead me to believe it means allot to someone, More than just a class ring.

Is it a Jostens Ring? My dad works in the Class Ring/Cap and Gown business (was with Jostens, now with Herff Jones), the current Jostens sales rep was his partner.

i would try to get in touch with the school or with the company that made the ring, either of them "should" have her contact info

Well I tied the school and no luck getting a live person on the phone.

So I called my buddy the police chief he was able to pull her info and contact her grand parents that she grow up with. Her grand father said she may have already headed back to UNCG but he would try and get a hold of her. I am just going to take it to the police station and either her or her grand parents can come pick it up.

Thanks for the help everyone.

BTW if anyone is at UNCG and has a way to contact her let her know I turned it in to the Morganton Public Safety Dept.

I probably found her brother/cousin, something along those lines on Facebook.

His name is Donavon D Harbison, went to Freedom, graduated in 08...

If anyone has an account on classmates.com they can look her up through there?

Edit: Most likely married now so the last name may have changed. Could try looking for parents? Does the ring show the year? If so it would give you an idea of her age.

Glad to see you have a lead, hopefully it makes its way back to her finger. Keystone is the Walmart brand of rings. Unfortunately they do offer any type of Warranty or Insurance Policy so she would have been SOL. Had it been a Herff Jones or Jostens class ring it would carry a lifetime warranty and insurance (6 yrs-HJ/4 yrs-Jostens) against loss or theft. She's lucky a stand-up guy like Mike found it!

You are a good person for returning the ring, lots of people would try to pawn it off
