Careful guys...I think this is a SCAM. I've been to several NC4x4 member's houses, and this place looks NOTHING like any NC4x4'ers house. No truck in the yard, no axles in the flowerbed up front, no stack of old tires in the yard. Heck there aren't even any cinderblocks to be seen, and certainly no big oil stain on the driveway. IP check, please...probably in Nigeria.

j/k...maybe we need a pic with the garage door open...

Oh - well - he has a BudBuilt sticker.
So he must be a Toyota fan and thus a good guy to buy a house from.

Lets not forget the RnR fab and NC4x4.com stickers along with the allpro-offroad sticker which proves that I had Toyota...Damn I miss that truck:confused:

That and it's a town wide homeowners association.

Chris, You better get that garage door down, After 30 minutes the city will come out and fine you!

Seriously, though, good luck with the sale.
That's actually the rule there. You can only have you're garage door open for 30 minutes.:shaking:Hence the city wide HOA comment.

Oh, I know... or rather, have heard...

Which is why it is better for us to live downtown... we may not be able to say much about the old ladies and their cats or the hippies and their 'wildflower' gardens, but they can't complain about the 36' race trailer parked on the street, either.

Prove it!

You guys are CRAZY... No HOA in my hood and I can work on cars in the drive way too! Not all of Cary is crazy..

I heard it from the lady at the city hall when we were getting a building permit to replace a deck that was falling off the building. She wanted to be sure we wouldn't have the door open too long and get reported.

I want to see this in writing, I call BS. May be a neighborhood ordinance but the citywide ones mostly apply to businesses.

my parents lived in Cary for 20 years, never had a problem w/ the city. And he built his own garage and trust me, it was "well used".
Only beef they had came when they discovered there was a major engineering flaw w/ the way their house was built, and found there were so many houses going up in the 80s the inspector basically skipped it.

The stakes just got higher!!!

Get a contingency offer on my house and I will pay you via pay-pal 50.00

Get a contract on my house and I will pay you via pay-pal $500.00

nothing like money!!

No proof, I'm just repeating what the lady at the city hall said. It really didn't surprise me though. She was pissed that the city approved the color of the pink house right when you get off the interstate at Cary Pkwy. I laughed and told her I thought it was great! She thought it was tacky. (Which is why I thought it was great). Yep, she basically said the city has to approve the color of your house if you want to change it.
