uhhh dude aquaculture is a HUGE money business.

Though most Tilapia operations I know just farm the tilapia out of catfish ponds, kind of a funny evolution. They started putting talapia into catfish ponds to help with nitrogen fixation issues and for bateria balance and the catfish farmers learned that 100 Tilapia bring what 8500 catfish bring....pretty soon the catfish werent as popular.

haha just a joke, kinda like you had to start somewhere

Never really looked into or thought about it as a business ever, just know a couple people that do it for their own fish and maybe some friends or something....Pretty crazy though
 
Yeah, there is somewhere near 220,000 fish in the building in that picture. The funny thing is it was never a hobby for any of us. I don't generally eat the dumbass things either, though they do taste good. Found a farmer from Lincolnton that is going to pick up the shit, I will save a pile for anyone that wants to come by and scoop some buckets full though.
