Finally painted the trailer, put a military style pintle hitch on it as well. Someone gave it to me for free so I didn't want to turn it down, especially for the added strength. Put a new jack on the front to that is removable. Had it sandblasted, then I spreyed it with grey primer and a gallon of black Rustoleum, I wish I had a before pic, it looks 10x better now. I also put new taillight boxes on to protect the lights if I ever get a flat again (last time I got a flat it demolished the light).

I like the idea of pop-riveting the license plate to something. Will probably "borrow" that idea. :) I need to move mine from the back corner where it gets dragged over or backed into everything. Might mount it on the fender like yours - my fender is curved, but still work...

That's the first mod when I got my trailer home! Like many, the plate was "flex" mounted (= ziptied under light) and was destroyed... no issues running there for the past year+ W/O a light...
