I have been in this"hobby" since I was 16. I have wheeled barely dependable to just too freakin heavy. Along the trails I have met some pretty neat people. People from every walk of life. I have enjoyed about every decent trail in NC and a lot of Tn. Every once in a while you come across someone special, no I don't mean special as in short bus LOL. I made a friend last year at one of CTB events. on here he is know as Yellowhood. His name is Andy, and to be honest we may be a out of the ordinary friendship. I am 43, and he is 26. But, then again most of my friends are younger. I have been to Andys home, and he has been to mine. His wife and mine all of us have become good friends. He has helped me on my junk, and I on his. Wrenching sessions seem a lot more pleasant when you have help. Andy is fairly new to the hobby, but his enthusiasm is right up there with the best of them. He built his rig in what is probably record breaking time. Yes, he did go back and re-do some things, but when he sets his mind to it, he gets er done! Andy has helped me into the wee hours of the night, give up whole Saturdays, and did things that I alone couldn't have done. It sure is nice to meet a friend like this. Andy, just wanted to say thanks

Chip,

Can I bring my junk over and drop it off & let you guys wrench on it???

J/K....Seriously, I have a couple friends that aren't on the board here, but will help each other anytime/anywhere...It sure does mean a lot!!!

Brought me gas when my dumb ass ran out... loaned tools, vehicles, trailers, money, vice versa....

I know a few guys on here that would probly do the same if I was in a jam....

Thanks to all you guys as well!!! Great folks I met and traded with on here so far.

SALUTE!!!

Yes there are many on here that would.
Andy Zuber has helped me many times with tech stuff, and all the neat brackets and such he stocks. we have sold stuff back and forth. It's a shame he is so far away from me.
Rich has helped too, with tech stuff.
Bud From BudBuilt another good guy, offered to bring gas (stargon)to me when I ran out on the weekend.
I am sure there are many more, but as I get older CRS is stronger
I have bought and sold to a good number of folks here. Great source for needs.

I moved here 1.5 years ago from California I had a few good friends there. After join CNC4x4 and serveral 4x4 forums I now have more friends than I had in 38 years in Cali. I Broke down the other day and I had 2 people stop to help. Rich was one and the other was my neighbor. Both I know but not that well. I think this group of people here really watches out for each other. both on and off the trail.

How true it is Chip!

I met MB(rent)Albritton about 4-5 years ago surfing the web & emailing... 3 days later he showed up with a big truck to help me move! Over the years we've manage to log some time wrenching on each others trash & had his clan over for chow. He daughter even picked her own name for my wife (Annette = "Peanut"). Rarely does a week pass that we don't bum a tool, need a hand, or just BS... He's at least 10 years younger than I am, but like the JudasPriest song says "you don't have to be old to be wise" :D

Thru Brent, I met another dumb@$$... John(WHTTRASH). He's just a young punk that doesn't listen to anyone and spends his time "alone" (a few more weekends and he'll officially be blind from too much "alone"). Really, he's another guy that would give you the shirt off his back, but I've always thought it best if he left it on! :flipoff2:

i made have several close friends out on the trail. and im sure that we will be wheeling together for years to come. :)
