Front Dana 44 info

Can someone point me to a webpage where I can find some information about the differences in all the different versions of the Dana 44?

My brother tore up the axle in his Ramcharger and I'm trying to help him get it rolling again and I was just curious what other applications I could look for to find one.

Someone told me the Dodge axles were narrower than Chevy axles. I have no idea how wide the one in his truck is/was.
