Rich said:Part of it is the springs.. they will settle in some, mine dropped about an inch, and I had anti-friction strips between all the leaves...
Part of it looks like your front hangar... has quite a few inches of drop in it from the looks of it??
You'd think the Springs would be the lift.. and maybe they are, but they have pretty much teh same arch to them that my old CJ springs did. But maybe they have more and I' mjust not seeing it.
The front hanger is addidng some, I do agree, but not more than an inch of lift really. the spring eye isn't but about 1.5-2" lower than where my shackle held it before. But maybe all this combined is what it's coming out to be... (estimated numbers here) SOA 4-5", Spring mount 1" Tires.. 2-3"... some lift from the springs...1-2"... the jeep ins't toatlly flat in those pictures, so weigh ttransfer to the front estimated in...
take teh high numbers from the figures.... clickity clickity click.... 12"..hhhmmmm, kinda what I thought from the picture....
I'm gonna ride it for a bit and see how she settles in.. Then see where I can bring it back down some
