Front HP D44

is there anything out there with a front D44 HP with disk that is the same width as a Ford 8.8? Where to look? its for a YJ

The closest you can get with minimal fabbing is to use the full width ford HP44s and cut down the tubes to run Waggy 44 inner shafts. That'll get you close to 8.8 width. Get even closer if you run a set of 1" spacers in the rear.

He didn't specifically say he didn't want that. Unless his question was more of a hp44 the same width as a YJ, in which case this doesn't matter.

Depending on tire size you are better off staying with the D30 or going to a D60 IMHO.

Ford is the only one of the big three that used high pinion until 02 or so dodge 3/4 ton and up AAM front and the chevy 4500 and 5500 kodiak.
