front leaf setup

just asking if me and my buddy should run the stock toyota rear leafs up front as they are, or pull the pack apart and work with the main leaf, and military wrap leaf. The 85' toy truck is only a single cab, and a 22-r, so its going to be light... we aren't running a body lift, so we need about 3-4 inches of lift if possible. i know that a new front spring hanger will add about an inch, and i also plan on using left over 1'' bannana shackles "sky's". So what should we do?
