Running a dodge 60 with 35 spline inners and drive flanges. I'm looking at the yukon powr-lok. On the Randy's ring and pinion site, it says nothing about this being only for the rear, so I assume it could be used in the front as well. I'd go with a lockrite, but with the drive flanges and driving it on the street, I'd rather not. So the question is: how do limited slips do in the front, how is the driveability, and do they have any odd handling characteristics? Are they even effective to use in the front?

Looked at the OX, ARB, and eaton e-locker, but for financial sake, I'm thinking about the limited slip. Any opinions? I'm welded in the rear. Not too much street action, but I'd like to be able to drive to the Uwharries if I want to, so streetability is kept in mind.

limited slip = limited traction

if it helps any, i have buddys with TJs and lockers in the front that drive fine on the street... and their shafts always spin...

id get the lockright, and if u dont like it, then find lockouts for the front...

I'm going to add one more advantage to the LS in the front. If...you drive in winter weather they are much safer (IMO) than a locker. A locker can be tricky when driving on the highway in winter weather. They can make your truck want to go straight when you don't want it to, and going in and out of areas with traction (especially in a curve) can be tricky.
