I have the hardest time getting my twin stick Dana 300 to go into fronst low. It usually take me 5-10min of fussing with it for it to get in gear. Any suggestions?

Sound like the shift collar is binding up on the gear to me....Most Dana 300s that I've seen are hard to shift and pop out of gear. Do you shifters have any obstructions?

Kevin, everyone that has had a dana 300 has experienced this. Best I can add is to rock it back and forth. I found that with it 4 low pulling back the left lever while moving it will come out pretty easy. Going in, shift the left lever first, and then the right, then pull the left back out.
Or
use what ever comb you can find that will work for ya

make sure no play in front output, probably time for a rebuild to check all the above items
