Got the skidder and seat in. It's completely flat made of .250 plate with a bud built tcase mount fab'd in to mount the cases using the factory style mounts. Ready to mount the last propane part the regulator tonight. Engine is set ready to be timed to the new DUI distrubter. Still gotta get a radiator guess I'll go with a V6 yota radiator.

whole thing. Can't see it in these pics but I got the 2.5 inch .250 wall DOM rear dshaft in after work today. Heavy and stout, I don't think I'll be able to hurt these Dshafts.

looks good man

Man those 42's look beef. Maybe I need to rethink doing 39's on mine and do 42's. Rig looks awesome.

Got any pics of the rear fw spring mounts and the motor mounts?

Thanks .

maybe this. Thanks for the compliments guys. Just plugging along with it when I get time and a little extra cash for the nickel and dime stuff I'm at right now.

shackle mounts on new rear crossmember/bumper/chassis mount. You can also see where I've cleaned the housing to mount the traction bar your allowed by the rules. You can also see how dramatic the shaving of the rear housing got.

speaking of shaving the housings. I've had a few PMs about shaving them. Take your time, use as little heat as possible, leave a junker third in the housing till your done and the housing has cooled from the plating. I recommend using cut off wheels to remove the bottom rather than a torch by the way, way way less heat so less warpage. Here is a pick of the front shaved. All my new plate is ..250 thick 2 inch flat bar stock tacked and hammered to shape then welded and ground smooth. Gained about 3/4 inch up front and an inch in the rear. Dave aka 35xj remember to shave your new fj80 rear before you put that new gear set in cause you don't have a junker.
