Fuel checkpoints

I don't run grease or off-highway, only on-road fuel.

Recently, where I live, DOT and the IRS have been setting up fuel checkpoints on the side of the road. What would they do if they caught someone running veg. oil? They have evidently been targeting loggers and dump trucks running off-road, but that got me thinking about grease.

I recon they'd wanna see your recipt for road use taxes paid with a very recent date on it.

You are supposed to keep a log of what you use and pay road use tax.

so how much is the road use tax your soposed to add? Almost takes the fun out of it.....
