In the process of cleaning my 6.0 LS injectors, I've discovered that 7 out of 8 are in great shape and are spraying well with a good audible "click" to them. The last one barely has any sound coming from it when manually activating it with a 9v battery and alligator clips (the method in which I used to clean the other 7). This tells me its dead, or is it? Has anyone successfully revived an injector with a soaking procedure and if so, what with? I used b-12 cleaner on the other ones. I'd hate to spend $120 on a new one if there's still hope for it.

I would personally check the resistance and maybe even measure the current to see if that single one differs from the other seven. That would indicate if electrically it can be salvaged. If it checks out, I would just soak in seafoam or a comparable fluid. I've only tapped them upside down to get rid of the big chunks, then soaked overnight. I've also run them on injection cleaner with a pressurized bottle hooked to the fuel rail. Those are the only procedures I've done personally.

Will try that. They're cheaper than I thought. $120 advance auto vs $30 amazon. Same Delphi part #. I hate to just give up on it but this weekend will be nice to cruise around. :driver:

I've probably got 3 full sets.... what's the part number on them? I'd guess they're 26lb/hr. I think that was the stock size.

I'll go check in the morning.
