Fuel tank capacity?

I hope this is the right category for this question:
I've got a 93 Cherokee Sport. How big is the gas tank on XJs? I've been getting ~210 miles per tank but my gauge is sort of all over the place sometimes so I don't know how low I'm going. I figure that I'm getting 15 or so mpg but it's hard to really know. Thanks in advance,
 
not sure how big the tanks are, or if they have different sizes. but it really don't matter to figure MPG's
Fill it up, mark down the miles
drive 200 miles, fill it up again. Divide the number of gallons it takes to fill the second time, into the number of miles you drove since the first fill up, and you will have exactly the MPG's you are getting.
 
I am pretty sure they are 18 gal.
 
Put a 1 gallon fuel container inside your car (with fuel in it). Drive your car until it runs out. Pour in container, proceed to nearest gas station, fill up. Add 1 gallon to the total on gas pump=your tanks capacity.

If your gas guage does not work, recommend getting it fixed (or atleast follow the first step I mentioned).
