I am in the process of building a buggy and I am getting ready to buy my steering. I am going full hydro and I would like to hear from a few of you about what you run and what you think the best system is. I will be running a 60 front with 42" iroks and a 350. Also where would be a good place locally to get the system.
Thanks

The best system has a filter on the pressure side and on the return.

Unless you're fond of replacing steering valves.

I'm only starting to gather the parts for mine, but... Rams are coming from Surplus center.

Orbital, pump, reservoir, and rear-steer valve are coming from either PSC, or Station at Performance offroad systems.

Lines will be done at the guy in G-boro in the vendor referral section. EDIT: Alliance HTW

There have been a few orbitals on here for sale that would be perfect if you don't need/want a load reactive unit.

Get familiar with the "Hydro steering bible" if you want some theory and "why it works" before you buy... at the very least it'll let you speak more intelligently to a vendor.

HTH.

thats good advice

Thanks I appreciate all the input I have read the whole article on pirate several times I think it now just comes down to what brand and who can give me the best deal. I was also wondering if I should spend the extra money on a double ended ram or if a single would work okay I would like to have load reactive.
Thanks again
